Have you heard of "Drinkin' For A Lincoln" yet?
Can you imagine going out and getting a beer for just $5 or less?
Well, thanks to Tommy Nicchi you are now able to do just that. Nicchi is the proprietor of 4 bars here in the Capital Region and he has made the choice to sell all of his beers from no more than $5.
You might be thinking that this is going to end up hurting the bottom line of these businesses but Nicchi says that that is not the case. Here's what he said to CBS 6 -
"It's not going to affect our bottom line to a point where we can't do this. We feel good about doing it. Our customers appreciate it. It's the right thing to do,"
So what brought this change about? The simple answer is the inflation rate being on the rise all over the Country. What makes the plan work? Nicchi buys major brands at mass quantities for a lower price while also working along with regional breweries that bypass distributors.
Nicchi told CBS6 -
"If you have a $5 bill in your hand, I have a beer for you. And not just a beer or two beers, any beer that you want. If you've got a $5 bill, we've got it for you,"
Where can you find these great deals? They're currently available at The Broken Inn, The Parlor, The Comedy Works in Saratoga, and also The Horses Lounge.
